A new supercritical, subcritical, and pressurized extraction unit is now available at EgiChem group. The new apparatus was supplied by SFE Process SAS (France) and is labeled as 'Multi-solvent Extraction System LAB SFE 1L'.

The equipment allows several working modes, namely:

- Extraction with supercritical CO2 at pressures up to 1000 bar and temperatures up to 150 ºC, with or without cosolvent, and with controlled flow rates;

- Subcritical water extraction up to 400 bar and 250°C, with controlled flow rates;

- Pressurized organic solvent extraction with controlled pressure, temperature and flow rate.
