During his bachelor’s thesis project, Julián worked at Mechanical and Materials Engineering Department of the UPV in collaboration with the company The SPB Global Corporation (València). The work aimed to characterize the design and application of a methodology for the determination of resistance to cracking of PET containers in active alkaline environments. In September 2017, Julián started working for the company The SPB Global Corporation, first as Metrological Control Technician and second as Supply Chain Specialist. In January 2022, Julián joined the Centre for Biomaterial and Tissue Engineering (CBIT) at the UPV to work on his master’s thesis project. The study, in collaboration with the Digestive Endoscopic Research Group of La Fe University Hospital in València, aims to the development of a new medical device for the endoscopic treatment of digestive tract fistulae. In January 2023, Julián joined the CICECO - Aveiro Materials Institute, at Aveiro University, as research fellow within the project i9rCB focusing on simulated moving bed chromatography.
