Bio

Inês Portugal is currently professor of Chemical Engineering at the Department of Chemistry of the University of Aveiro (Portugal) and is member of CICECO – Aveiro Institute of Materials. She has published ca. 40 peer reviewed journal articles and 4 book chapters, and she has supervised ca. 20 master degree graduates.

Her main research interests include chemical valorisation of renewable resources, chemical reaction engineering as a tool for sustainability, and Chemical Engineering Education.
