Bio

Cristiana Maganinho completed the master degree in Chemical Engineering at University of Aveiro (2020). Since then, her research has been focused on the adsorption of volatile organic compounds, and the thermochemical valorisation of plastic residues. Presently, she is a Chemical Engineering PhD student investigating new treatments to improve the quality and polymer compatibility of recovered carbon black (rCB), aiming to reinforce its performance in tires manufacture. The work is being developed under the supervision of Prof. Carlos M. Silva and Prof. João Rocha in a partnership with University Aveiro/CICECO and BB&G-AWES.
